Cancer Charity: We are proud to have given
our support by donating £1000 to the
magnanimous Stephen Auker who last year
ran 1000 miles for cancer charity. Stephen is a
fascinating character who works part-time as a
web optimiser and assisted Crystal Hearing in
reaching our goal of being the no.1 listed
hearing aid supplier on Google. For the bulk of
the rest of his spare time Stephen commits to
his daily running schedule and the training and
preparation that goes with running 20 miles
every week. Well, we say 20, that was for 2008
when he raised over £10,000; for 2009 Steve has
doubled this target and is endeavouring to do
2000 miles which is 40 miles every week!! Steve
does this for no other gain than to help those
who suffer. If you would like to read more about

Marlow Bowling
Club - Crystal Hearing are especially
pleased to be able to support our local bowling
club by donating £1300 towards the cost of new
shirts for all 140 members, both ladies and
gentleman. Marlow Bowling club was founded in
1918 and now has a very committed group of
members who are actively involved in making the
club the success that it is. Playing lawn bowls
through the summer and short mat bowls in the
winter, the club plays an essential role for the
social interaction of many of Marlow's more
elderly locals and we are pleased our new shirts
having given the place a fresh and professional
look when competitions are on!
