Buying Hearing Aids Online - What you should know

There are now many company's using the internet to supply hearing aids. Most are reputable, but they may not be well established.

An established company should have a 'natural listing' and not have to rely on having to pay for their website to be found. Several company's relying on 'paid listings' in the past (shown below as 'Sponsored Links') have collapsed because they could not maintain the ongoing costs associated with paying for their listing, and this has subsequently left many customers without the aftercare they have paid for.

What is a 'natural listing'?

'Natural listings' are FREE and appear on the left, below the most expensive 'sponsored links' (shaded in pink). For a website to be listed FREE on Page 1 shows that it is highly valued by that search engine and that it has been fully approved. The higher the position the more important the website is considered.

Google is the most popular search engine in the world and is accountable for about 70% of ALL internet searches.

There are about 9 million Google search results for the term 'hearing aids' and 2.5 million for 'digital hearing aids' - Crystal Hearing is the top listed retailer for both and for nearly all other searches containing the words 'hearing aids'.

The alternative 'Sponsored Links' are used by companies who cannot get a good web presence. These ad's are VERY expensive to maintain and these companies may struggle to maintain this whilst they build their company.

There are several companies to be found with good natural listing - so even if you choose another company, please choose one with good natural listing for your own long term security.
