Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are general and may vary slightly across our network of dispensers. All terms and conditions will be clearly printed on the reverse of your order form and will be explained to you.
Prices are based on domiciliary appointments. Some branch outlets may charge slightly more than the prices shown on this website.
Clients shall pay for congestion charges and parking fees incurred by dispensers for home appointments. These costs will be invoiced / requested as and when they apply.
60 day money back guarantee
Your hearing aids are supplied with a 60-day money back guarantee, provided that the hearing aids and the packaging are returned to us in their original / as new condition within this period. BTE and RIC ear-moulds and RIC speaker wires are non-refundable. Accessories will incur a 5% admin / repacking / re-sale fee and must be returned in their original condition including all packaging.
Items on Free Trial
Lost or damaged items shall be paid for in full.
Aftercare
Aftercare is included in the purchase price unless otherwise agreed at the point of sale.
Hearing Aid Repairs
Please contact the dispenser who supplied the equipment using the number on their business card. We retain the right to charge for call-outs that are a result of continued improper maintenance of your hearing aids. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR BROKEN HEARING AIDS USING GLUE.
Manufacturers warranty
All hearing aids are supplied with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty for repair of mechanical or physical fault, commencing from the date of first fitting. This warranty allows for fault to be repaired or parts to be replaced free of charge within this period by the manufacturer only. Your supplying company shall endeavour to provide reasonable assistance in making use of this warranty, which may at times require you to send the aid to us (by 'special delivery'). The warranty can, if necessary, be redeemed by any other dispenser/company as authorised by the manufacturer of the aids. Items NOT covered: BTE ear-moulds, RIC speaker wires and power moulds for RIC hearing aids are NOT covered. 2 RIC speaker wires will be replaced free of charge, and are thereafter chargeable.
NOTE: International warranty is limited to 1 year for several of the hearing aid companies.
Liability for damage arising from accidental damage, misuse, water damage, or attempted repair by persons other than those authorised by us or by the manufacturer, are specifically excluded from the guarantee. This includes battery doors.
GLUING BROKEN HEARING AIDS WILL RENDER YOUR WARRANTY VOID
Loss & Damage of Aids
We strongly advise you to insure your hearing aids against loss or accidental damage. We advise using home contents insurance (add item as 'special item - all risks'), or we recommend Barry Fenton Insurance Brokers who can arrange a special hearing aid insurance plan - Tel. 01724 864 307.
Regulating Body
All hearing aid dispensers must be registered with the Health Professions Council. For more information please visit http://www.hpc-uk.org/
Registered Hearing Aid Dispensers can use the post nominal letters RHAD.
