I want to put into writing how very pleased I've been in all my interactions with Crystal Hearing. All aspects of the service I received can only be described as excellent and rated as outstanding. I speak with some authority since before I retired I was Dean of the European Quality Management Colleges based in six EC Countries. The Colleges taught executives and managers how to achieve quality within their organisations and how to deliver outstanding customer service. Had you attended you would have achieved the top five-star rating.

Hi John,

Just a quick email to say thanks for everything over the last few weeks in getting my new aids sorted and matched for me.  I’d have to say initially that I was a little apprehensive about “buying online”, particularly with after-sale care but the truth is that your service and professionalism has been absolutely impeccable – nothing seems to have been too much trouble.  As mentioned to you I had initially been to see a local independent Audiologist and, aside of your more “realistic” prices, your service has been head and shoulders above them.

As a relatively young person (!) I was obviously concerned about aesthetics as well as finding an Audiologist with the technical competence to program modern digital hearing aids.  I’d read on several forums that most aid matching problems and discomfort occur because the Audiologist is not sufficiently skilled or adept with computers to configure them correctly.  The INTEO’s are certainly tiny and virtually invisible.  As for the setup, you get tops marks from me and I’d recommend you to anyone with similar concerns or who needs specialist attention. 

Having had my hearing restored quite simply ranks as one the best things to happen to me – So it’s a really big thank you to you!

This email was received off Mr Allender (North London) who was fitted with a pair of digital receiver-in-the-canal hearing aids in September 2007. Mr Allender was happy with his new hearing aids but did unfortunately experience a few post fitting problems, and whilst problems do occasionally occur it is of utmost importance to us that we deal with them promptly and adequately:

Dear John,

Thanks for your e-mail yesterday.  I hope you’ve had a good holiday. The little parcel arrived this morning – neatly and beautifully packed – with your note:

“RHS repaired 0728H166D / LHS replaced 0810H1797” 

I put new batteries in both (10 minutes ago) and they are in my ears, switched on, right now. 

I have to say that the LHS gave a hiss a couple of minutes ago.  I cupped my hand over my left ear to check that the thing is ON and I heard the starting up tune again.  That was 4 minutes ago, and it seems OK since.  A bit worrying still. 

It would be interesting to hear from Phonak to know exactly what caused the problem in the first place…what kind of technical fault could it have been (your guess was battery contact).

I will, of course, report if I get more problems.

Your service, as always, was, and is, superb!  In fact the best I have ever received from any company with which I have had technical problems, over many years.

This email was received off Mr Stephen Davies (Basingstoke) who ordered a Phonak iCom BluetoothTM accessory for his daughters Naida power hearing aids:

Hi John,

Just recently returned from holiday.  Got your answer phone message reference the ICOM we purchased.  Thanks for getting it sent so quickly, in fact it came the next day!  Our audiologist was as interested as us and offered to see us two days later and paired the ICOM to Maddy’s Nadia hearing aids.

So far they are very good and are highly recommended!  She can talk to family using the blue tooth and mobile phone, plug the ICOM into just about any media source, but more important she now uses it with a Smartlink FM device for school.  Only short fall is the neck loop being adult size, however, a very minor point.
