Unitron Hearing Aids
Unitron are a Canadian company with more than 40 years experience developing and manufacturing hearing aids. Their UK base is in Warrington where all custom products are designed using 3D modelling software before being made to high precision using laser moulding technology.
Their latest premium range of hearing aids are branded under the tag 'Quantum' which is available in various ITE, RIC and BTE styles at 3 technology levels. The Quantum was launched June 2011 and uses the new 'ERA' microchip which has 16 million transistors capable of over 200million calculations per second.
This chipset develops on the idea of wireless connectivity
, but with twice as much processing power twice as its predecessor. The Quantum brings Unitron into real contention with the other leading global suppliers of premium digital hearing aids.

Unitron simplified their digital hearing aid portfolio in June 2011, making it logical and easier for customers to understand.
Unitron now have 4 levels of hearing aid available in all normal hearing aid styles (ITE / ITC / BTE and RIC).
Unitron Quantum 20 - This superb top-range hearing aid is Bluetooth compatible enabling wireless communication between a multitude of audio devices including MP3 players, mobile phones, landline telephones, laptops, PC's, and any other device that has an audio output. The Unitron Quantum has 'binaural synchronisation' which means the left and right hearing aids talk to each other and simultaneously alter when volume and programme changes are made on one side only - this overcomes confusing moments trying to match up the beeps of yesterdays hearing aids. The Quantum includes the latest technology expected in top-range hearing aids including 20 channels, multi-channel adaptive directionality, speech enhancement, noise reduction, wind reduction, echo stop, sound damping and with the Smart Control remote control device we also have comfort - clarity balance to allow the user to control if speech is enhanced or noise is reduced depending on the environment they are in.
Unitron Shine - This is Unitron's entry level 4 channel digital hearing aid with automatic volume control, feedback manager, steady state noise reduction and wind noise manager - perfect for clients looking for easy to use digital technology to suit easier going lifestyles or those on tighter budgets.
Unitron 360 - This is a super-power BTE hearing aid housed in a nano-coated casing for maximum moisture protection. Remote Controls - All Unitron hearing aids except the CIC's are compaitble with the Smart Control 
. A fully functional remote control which incorporates a home button for quick revert back to normal user settings, and also (for the Quantum 20) a learn now button which allows useres to store their preferred settings, over-riding the default programming.
