Bernafon ALPHA is the latest premium Bernafon product from January 2021.
ALPHA is only available as ‘rechargeable‘ receiver-in-canal style only at present.
Available at 3 premium technology levels – Alpha 9, 7 and 5; and 4 power levels.
Available in 10 new attractive colour options.
Bernafon Alpha uses new ‘hybrid‘ chipset technology and is a hearing aid developed to serve high expectations.
Bernafon ALPHA utlisies a brand new all powerful chipset that is 16 times more powerful than previous Bernafon hearing aids with 8 times the memory.
The new ‘Hybrid‘ technology platform consists of four processing blocks, each of them a hybrid in itself. The large image above shows how this works as a whole to deliver an outstanding and natural sound experience.
Bernafon ALPHA is available in 10 colours.
Bernafon Alpha rechargeable hearing aids
Bernafon ALPHA is Bernafon’s premium lithium-ion rechargeable hearing aid.
ALPHA uses inductive charging technology for ongoing reliability (no contact points to get dirty). New battery protection mode protects the battery from over charging.
Now available at all 3 technology levels – all with telecoil included.
Offering:
- 3 hour charge for fully charged
- 1 hour charge for 50% charge
- 30 minute charge for 25% daily use
This charger does NOT hold charge for on-the-go cordless charging.

Bernafon ALPHA and Mobile Phones
Bernafon Alpha can stream phonecalls and audio direct from iPhones and the latest Android phones.
You can also take full control of your hearing aids using the new Bernafon EasyControl-A app – i.e. volume, programme changes and much more. See below.
For other brand phones and older Android phones you will need to use a SoundClip-A streaming accessory

Bernafon hearing aid accessories are available for improving clarity of speech in various circumstances.
Remote Microphone (SoundClip-A) – for streaming from all mobile phones other than iPhones which can directly connect.
TV Adaptor (TV-A) – For direct streaming of your TV to your hearing aids

Bernafon Remote Care
Bernafon have now included remote programming assistance in their latest hearing aids via their phone app called Bernafon EasyControl Connect.
This allows us to connect to you and your hearing aids via live video call within the app and make changes to your hearing aids – this is primarily used in the initial fine-tuning set-up process so that you don’t have to keep driving back and forth for minor tweaks.
Being that hearing aids now include a vast array of technology this can allow us to tweak things a bit more for you to try in different environments and hone the hearing aids better to your needs.
You will need to download the Bernafon EasyControl Connect app and set up a user account.
